To mentally prepare for the impending act of artistic creativity, I poured myself a gin and tonic, and drank it in a single gulp. Then, aware of the heavy responsibility I was undertaking, I made another. Next, I painted a picture of Jesus on the tortilla, using my browning/paint mix. I used cheap, stiff bristle brushes that are designed for use with acrylic paints. I save money on brushes so I can buy more Tanqueray. I used an opage projector to project a picture of Jesus onto the tortilla, then painted the darkest areas - the hair and beard, the eyes, the nostrils, and so forth. I didn't bother shading too much, I just got the dark areas defined. Shading comes later, when I will actually burn the tortilla.
