This was the finished tortilla, ready for burning with the heat gun. When the browning sauce/paint mix is heated, it starts to bubble and burn.  It burns faster and darker than the tortilla.  So rather than looking painted on, the image will look as if it has miraculously burned into the tortilla.

 At least, that's what I hoped would happen.
